Vicki Tambellini
President and CEO
Throughout her career as a sales and marketing executive and business owner, Ms. Tambellini has focused on developing the insights, skills and practices needed to identify and reach both her professional and personal goals. Helping others' employees, associates, clients and consumers reach their business and life management goals is at the heart of all her initiatives.
She is the President and CEO of The Tambellini Group, a consulting firm that provides expert research, expert experience and executive-level skills to enable breakthrough results. The Tambellini Group contributes directly to your organization's success by providing executive-level and management strategy recommendations based on insight and analysis of detailed, quantitative and qualitative research.
In order to meet today's growing demand for greater access to targeted information, The Tambellini Group also develops and operates enterprise social media websites that provide timely and objective analysis on business and life management and access to peers, specialists and the larger community.
In 2008, Vicki's former company, Synergy3 launched a community site for higher education at www.edu1world.org. The site serves the information and networking needs of higher education professionals. edu1world.org is a single destination where members can define and locate peer institutions and colleagues, search information about vendors and products, and collaborate and share information with each other. The Tambellini Group acquired Synergy3 in February 2009.
In November 2008 she also launched a personal life management site where individuals find all they need, including personal guidance, to improve health, wellness, weight management and life management skills.
The Tambellini Group developed the enterprise social software platform Enterprise Hive. Enterprise Hive powers edu1world and other complex social software web communities. Available as a service, Enterprise Hive was launched in July 2010.
Ms. Tambellini is a member of The Obesity Society and is currently serving on the Advocacy Task Force. She received a BS in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1982.

Paula K. Goldman
General Council
Ms. Goldman runs her own law practice specializing in the contracting needs of small technology companies and works with The Tambellini Group as a consultant for institutions of higher education negotiating large software acquisitions. Her expertise stems from over 15 years of assisting technology companies, both as inside and outside counsel.
Before starting her own practice, Ms. Goldman was General Counsel for Gelco Information Network, Inc., a company specializing in outsourced business services related to travel and expense management. Prior to that she was Senior Regional Counsel for PeopleSoft, Inc.'s Education and Government division, and General Counsel for Digicon Corporation. Ms. Goldman's in-house career was preceded by 5 years as an associate at Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis, where she worked with the litigation, administrative law, and government contract groups.
Ms. Goldman was selected as Employee of the Year at Gelco and the legal team she led at PeopleSoft received numerous awards for their productivity and dedication to excellence. She was a speaker at the 2006 Association of Corporate Counsel's annual conference.
Ms. Goldman received her Juris Doctor degree from The National Law Center at George Washington University in 1989. She also earned an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1986, and an A.B. from Cornell University in 1985.

Liz Dietz
Technology Strategist and Executive Advisor
Liz has over 24 years of experience in delivering innovative software solutions to the Higher Education market. Prior to joining edu1world, Liz was the President and Chief Executive Officer for Xap Corporation, an internet content and technology company that builds and hosts College Access Portals like CSUMentor.edu and California Colleges.edu, Career Planning products like Bridges Choices, and test preparation products such as Number2.com and TestGear.
During her tenure at Xap Liz stewarded the development of Xap’s secondary and postsecondary transcript exchange network as well as lead the acquisition of Bridges Transitions. Prior to joining Xap, Liz was a VP/General Manager for PeopleSoft, managing the Learning Solutions Product Division. In 1997 Liz joined PeopleSoft via the acquisition of Campus Solutions, where she was a founding partner of the software and consulting company that developed PeopleSoft’s Student Administration software products.
Liz also spent over 10 years at University of California, Los Angeles and Loyola Marymount Universities where she was responsible for designing, developing and implementing student information systems, as well as serving 2 years as the Associate Director of Financial Aid at UCLA.

Lauren Hart-Piper
Senior Research Associate
Lauren has over 20 years experience in technology sales and marketing for the education industry. Most recently, she has provided competitive intelligence, business planning analysis, product management and marketing communications services to organizations serving the education market such as CollegeAnywhere, Schoolwires, Synergy3, WebStudy and WHYY.
She previously was the Senior Director of Competitive Intelligence at Systems and Computer Technology (now Sungard Higher Education).
Lauren has over a decade of product management expertise as she was the IA-Plus Finance and Human Resource product manager for SCT.
Lauren began her career at Monroe Communtiy College as the project leader for Information Associates's Financial Record System. She then joined Information Associates and held positions in professional services, sales and marketing.
Lauren holds a B.S. from Roberts Wesleyan College and has studied competitive intelligence from Leonard Fuld and at Drexel University.

Kim Collins
Researcher, Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Throughout the past 20 years Kim Collins has held positions of Office Manager and Executive Assistant. Her specialty lies in the field of bookkeeping and accounting.
Kim manages all of the day to day office operations for The Tambellini Group and its various initiatives. She also finds time to research and post important news for the community sites.
For the past 2 years Kim has been researching content for the bellaSavio website - she edits and manages content for the site.
She brings her bookkeeping, customer service, administrative support and office management skills to The Tambellini Group team.

Mary Beth Cahill
Technology Support, Technology Research and Content Developer
Ms. Cahill has over 25 years of experience as a technology consultant in the computer software industry specializing in database and web-based business solutions.
Ms. Cahill spent over 9 years at Oracle Corporation as a Senior Core Technology Consultant. In this capacity, Ms. Cahill worked with State and Local Government entities to solve business problems using Oracle Technologies. Ms. Cahill has also worked in similar capacities with companies such as Digital Equipment and Xerox Corporation.
Most recently, Ms. Cahill has worked as a free-lance technology consultant for Synergy3, LLC and The Tambellini Group, LLC. She has worked closely with bellaSavio founder, Vicki Tambellini, to create content specifically for the bellaSavio content management site, www.bellasavio.com. Ms. Cahill continues to work with the on-line bellaSavio community and The Tambellini Group in several capacities.
Ms. Cahill holds a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Biology from the University of Richmond.

Candace Eidson
Technology Support, Research Associate
Candace has worked in the higher ed software industry for the past 10 years in the area of marketing. At The Tambellini Group, Candace researches and gathers information on software and services provided to colleges and universities.
Prior to joining edu1world and bellaSavio, Candace was the Events Manager for Jenzabar. She redesigned the annual user conference by listening to both the clients and corporate needs and bringing 5 merged companies together into one conference. The result was targeted educational sessions and a tight conference community of over 1300 customers.
Candace was a Senior District Manager for Maidenform Outlets for 8 years, prior to joining Jenzabar. Her expertise at Maidenform was turning underperforming stores into profitable stores through the development of management staff.

Tanya Athannassova
Community Manager
Tanya Athannassova has been involved in the software company management, customer support and communication for the last 13 years.
Tanya has worked in the Education sector: she taught English Language at K-12 state and private schools (10 years) and later at Plovdiv University (2 years) before turning to the private sector as owner and manager of a software development company.
In 1995 Tanya co-founded ConsultCommerce, a Custom Software Development, Software Products and Services Company, with offices in Europe and US. She has been office manager and HR manager for the company until 2005, when she moved with her family to the States. She continued her services for the US office with the company’s North American customers.
In 2005 Tanya co-founded ITBrix. ITBrix is the investment and sales arm of ConsultCommerce. Tanya is a Customer Support team member as well as a communications liaison between ITBrix customers and the ITBrix development and support teams.
Her greatest expertise and strength is her communication skills and the ability to listen, understand and convert into tasks and actions customers’ requests/ issues that might arise from proprietary or off-the-shelf software products and their application.
Tanya holds a Masters degree in British and American Studies.
