Vendors may now use the Higher Education Collaborative Community for free to communicate and share information, find colleagues and demonstrate thought leadership.

Enterprise Hive, LLC, the provider of edu1world.org, the world’s largest online professional community for higher education technology professionals, has announced that the collaboration communities of edu1world are available at no cost to all individuals employed by vendors who serve this industry. Premium communities for industry-leading higher education market research continue to be available to all members for a fee.
edu1world.org allows its 35,000 members to post content, comment and share information in its education technology-focused online community.
“We have decided to offer free access to vendors and their employees to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing among higher education administration technology professionals,” said Vicki Tambellini president and CEO of Enterprise Hive. “In the past, we offered free access to those employed in higher education, but charged a fee for vendors serving the higher education market.”
“By allowing vendors to participate for no charge, we hope to expand the discussion and, ultimately, opportunities for the primary ‘customer’ – the student.”
Since its inception in 2008, edu1world has provided free access to higher education employees for sharing lessons learned, researching best practices and vendor solutions, learning about technology trends, finding and posting jobs, and accessing the expert content they need to succeed.
Tambellini said that Institution members can expect this change to create enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing.

By removing the cost barrier to access collaboration communities on edu1world, we expect more participation especially from progressive organizations which may have small marketing budgets. The result will be great contributions and connections for the entire community.”
