Dr. Blanton has a track record of thought leadership and successful strategic planning across multiple higher education institutions, and in her role as a board member for many organizations. Dr. Brown is a longtime chief information officer in higher education, and has devoted his professional and academic studies to CIO attributes and effectiveness in higher education. Dr. Brown has led the CHECS CIO study since 2003. This research provides valuable information about higher education CIOs’ characteristics, education, experience, and effectiveness.
