The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, nationally recognized as a hot spot for entrepreneurial education, set aggressive recruitment, retention, and placement goals to maintain competitiveness. One roadblock to its ambitions: The lack of a central repository of supplemental academic and engagement data for students. Leeds decided to implement a school-wide CRM using Salesforce. The Salesforce implementation has resulted in biographic, demographic, and contact information in the same place as detailed academic progress data, program participation, event attendance, emails received, trips attended, on-campus experiences, scholarships received, and more.
