Roles and Responsibilities
Keiko works closely with Tambellini members to align their technology strategy and institutional strategy. As changes in technology are never stagnant, institutions face unprecedented challenges to stay relevant and marketable to target populations. Therefore, the importance of looking forward and developing plans for change and/or transformation is more prominent than ever. Keiko focuses on guiding institutions towards making the best decisions that will revolutionize various academic areas, such as recruitment, enrollment, and retention.
For over 25 years, Keiko has dedicated her career to higher education and technology. In her positions as Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, Chief Student Services Officer, and Senior Consultant, Keiko honed her skill at analyzing data and leveraging technology to drive decisions. In her previous role as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Wentworth Institute Technology, Keiko successfully built teams that increased enrollment, academic quality, diversity, and retention. Apart from the technical side, Keiki also has teaching experience in international education and taught for two years in Japan. She is also a certified College Planning Specialist and a former contributing writer for Color, a multicultural magazine for professionals of Color. Her written work has been featured in the publication Study in the USA.
