As a senior analyst for the Tambellini Group, Paul O’Brien exercises his passion for using technological solutions to drive student success. Paul will advise higher education clients on selection and implementation strategies based on the extensive research developed by the Tambellini Group. Paul will also assist in furthering the Tambellini research agenda with his research and publications.

Professional Background

Paul O’Brien brings over 30 years of leadership and management experience in higher education technology to Tambellini Group. Passionate about building highly effective and solution-focused teams, before joining Tambellini, Paul served as the VP of Institutional Technology and CIO at Indian River State College. In this role, he oversaw many successful technological infrastructure projects and implementations including being the first college to deploy Workday Student in 2018. He has been known to deliver innovative, reliable, cost-saving technology strategies that streamline processes and drive business growth in a dynamic environment.
