Mur Muchane

Mur Muchane serves as the vice president of information technology and chief information officer (CIO) at Wake Forest University (Wake Forest). As the senior-most leader responsible for the vision, strategy, digital transformation, and management of all aspects of technology on campus, Mur collaborates with key institutional leaders in the development of shared goals where technology plays an integral role in teaching, learning, and research. Mur’s goal is to advance institutional priorities through innovation, client-focused, and financially sustainable solutions and services.

Prior to his role at Wake Forest, Mur re-shaped the IT landscape at Davidson College through creative leadership and exploring opportunities via technological advancements.

Mur earned his BA and BBA from Warren Wilson College and MS from University of Tennessee.
