Nominations are open for Tambellini Group’s eighth annual Technology Leadership Awards. These prestigious distinctions celebrate and honor the remarkable achievements of higher education’s IT leaders and their teams.
Through these awards, current, future, and past CIOs are reminded of the difference one person’s leadership and commitment can make in advancing technology in higher education.
In a year followed by rapid technological innovation on campuses across the country, these awards highlight the leading individuals and teams who stand out for their exceptional commitment and success in driving impactful technology initiatives in the service of their institutional constituents.
Consistently effective leaders have a rare combination of skills: they strategically drive change while going above and beyond to help and empower their colleagues. The CIO Award recognizes these leaders for their achievements in deploying modern technology across a wide array of areas, including CRM, student engagement, and cloud initiatives.
The strength of an effective team depends on the tireless dedication and meaningful collaboration from numerous individuals across various functions. The Innovative Technology Team Award honors a creative team that successfully led a transformative project focused on improving outcomes for students, faculty, and administration, including change leadership, student engagement, administrative systems, and data and analytics.
The Tambellini Technology Leadership Awards are given in honor of Dr. Wayne Brown as a tribute to his tremendous impact on CIOs in higher education. Dr. Brown is a longtime chief information officer in higher education and has devoted his professional and academic studies to CIO attributes and effectiveness in higher education.
