In 2018, Moody Bible Institute of Chicago (Moody) began to reconsider its options for a Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The institution’s 10-year legacy system was unable to be maintained, and while switching to an HCM enterprise system was the solution, the institution did not have the bandwidth to run and maintain a new solution with their existing resources. In response, the college sought after a vendor-managed HCM solution and decided on the comprehensive UKG platform. The following year, Moody was again in a transition period. After its legacy donor information system failed to meet its requirements, the college was in need of a modern CRM solution. Impressed with the breadth of functionality within the Salesforce ecosystem, Moody selected a suite of Salesforce advancement solutions, including but not limited to Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Service Cloud, Elevate, Tableau, and High-Velocity Sales. Read this research to better understand Moody’s decision-making reasons for choosing UKG and Salesforce to meet their institutional goals.
