The three institutions that make up the Green Mountain Higher Education Consortium—Champlain College, Middlebury College, and Saint Michael’s College, were collectively ready to replace their legacy systems in 2016. As a more cost-effective approach, GMHEC launched Project Ensemble—a combined effort to procure and implement modern, cloud-based ERP and advancement systems. Eventually, GMHEC selected Oracle Fusion Cloud as the application for its finance, HCM, and student systems. In addition, the consortium chose Hitachi Vantara as its implementation partner.
