Wesleyan University is an institution that supports three employee unions and multiple student workers. For years, Wesleyan operated several different tools and processes to capture the hourly time and labor delivered to payroll. However, the school found that the varied modes of recording time made it difficult to ensure employees and students remained in compliance with the Department of Labor’s union and student financial aid regulations. In 2019, Wesleyan dedicated a team and resources towards finding a solution. The team began a search for a unified timekeeping system, ultimately deciding that the Workforce Software platform best fit their needs. Read this case study for deeper insight into Wesleyan’s decision and implementation process and learn more about Workforce Time and Attendance, including benefits for institutions.
