Jack Miner, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, is responsible for the oversight of the central enrollment offices and functions of UC including Undergraduate Admissions, University Registrar, Student Financial Aid, Advising and Academic Services and the Onestop Student Services Center. As a member of the Provost’s senior leadership team, Miner oversees the university’s SEM structure and working groups.
Before joining UC, Miner served as Registrar and Executive Director of Enrollment Services for the Ohio State University. Miner joined the Ohio State in 1992, and during his tenure successfully increased enrollment, retention and graduation rates, and led initiatives to reduce student debt and decrease student costs.
Miner has served as a national advisor to the US Department of Education on student data, diversity and gender issues, as well as an advisor to the Ohio Department of Higher Education on student transfer, degree attainment, competency-based education, and student success. Miner previouslys served as director of the Strategic Enrollment Management Conference and past president of American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
