Future Campus Tabletop Exercises
What Are the Future Campus Tabletop Exercises?
After working with higher education institutions for decades, we know that one of the biggest questions when trying to navigate challenges and opportunities, large or small, is “where and how do we get started?”
That’s why Tambellini Group developed Future Campus™ Tabletop Exercises. The interactive, scenario-based activity is designed to facilitate critical conversations among stakeholders. Through a series of cards based on our Future Campus Workspaces—10 priority areas institutions should address—participants will be guided and supported in fostering meaningful conversations and actionable resolutions.
Try It on Your Own: Aligning AI Initiatives with Institutional Branding
Engage in this tabletop exercise to:
- Explore AI’s impacts on higher education
- Identify risks or opportunities
- Develop strategic responses
This tabletop exercise fosters informed decision making, collaboration, and innovation, helping ensure ethical AI integration that aligns with institutional values and enhances educational quality and accessibility.
Who Should Participate?
We recommend that institutions complete this exercise with at least one colleague outside of their department for an optimal experience. For this particular scenario, for example, you might enlist leaders or representatives from:
- IT
- Marketing Communications
- Student Success and more!
How to Complete the Exercise
To complete the exercise, each participant should:
- Review the Scenario (yellow card), Perspective (blue card), and Risk (red card) cards.
- Based on the prompt from the Perspective card, individually list and rank the items. If working in a group, share and discuss these rankings.
- Collaboratively, the team should achieve consensus on the top three priorities by reevaluating and realigning the items. The exercise concludes once the team reaches alignment on the scenario.
