Tambellini Group Chosen Among 1,500 Entries for Two Prominent 2021 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Irvington, Virginia — September 24, 2021Tambellini Group is proud to announce that it has once again earned accolades for its distinctive achievements, winning bronze level awards in both the Company of the Year and Achievement in Thought Leadership categories in the 18th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.

With over 1,500 entries submitted this year from 35 countries, the Stevie Awards honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run across the globe. These awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards, and winners are determined by the average scores of more than 160 business professionals around the world, working on eight juries.

Tambellini Group also won two Stevie Awards in 2017 in the small business categories: CEO and founder Vicki Tambellini was recognized as Female Entrepreneur of the Year, and Tambellini Group was named Company of the Year.

“I’m particularly proud of our awards in 2021, as they are a testament to the strength of our team and the value their work brings to our higher education members during a particularly challenging time,” said Vicki Tambellini, Tambellini Group founder and CEO. “Our team continues to grow because our analysts and advisors consistently provide much-needed insights and guidance to our member institutions as their technology needs continue to evolve rapidly.”

In the Company of the Year category, Tambellini Group stood out for proactively adapting and expanding its breadth of expertise and services over the past few decades, including a 140% headcount growth since 2019.  Positive member feedback and flexible and affordable membership packages also factored heavily in this award.

Tambellini earned the Achievement in Thought Leadership award for its timely contributions to the public higher education dialogue, with over three dozen recent media placements, including insightful bylined opinion pieces in Inside HigherEd and Campus Technology.  Furthermore, by doubling the volume of content published in Tambellini’s public resource center, the company offered counterintuitive perspectives on relevant issues technology leaders face on campuses across the world.  “When it comes to advocating for institutions and voicing their concerns in the technology market, our analysts are incisive in their predictions and have the finger on the pulse of what institutions need,” said Ms. Tambellini. “Furthermore, it’s also notable that in a field where women are vastly underrepresented, the vast majority of our research analyst team—75 percent—are female.”
