Jules White, PhD
Senior Advisor to the Chancellor
Vanderbilt University

Dr. Jules White is Senior Advisor to the Chancellor, Director of Vanderbilt’s Initiative on the Future of Learning & Generative AI, and Professor of Computer Science in the Dept. of Computer Science at Vanderbilt University. He created one of the first online classes for Prompt Engineering, which is the study of how you converse with AI effectively, which has had over ~275,000 enroll. His combined enrollment in his courses is ~400,000 students. He is a National Science Foundation CAREER Award recipient. His research has won multiple Best Paper Awards. He has raised over $13M in venture backing for startup companies that he has created based on his research. He has also published over 160 papers.
