As an analyst, Nipuna Ambanpola conducts market research and client advisory work focused on data management, analytics strategy, artificial intelligence (AI) readiness, and data modernization. He delivers evaluation frameworks to help institutions assess their data maturity and AI capabilities, and produces research, including white papers, market landscape analyses, and guides. Nipuna also develops internal AI-enabled workflows and automation tools that improve productivity and expand Tambellini’s market intelligence capabilities.
Nipuna has nearly a decade of experience applying data, technology, and AI strategy and transformation in the public and social impact sector, helping organizations and communities to strengthen impact and increase efficiency. Before joining Tambellini, he served as the Data & Evaluation Manager at the UGA Institute for Leadership Development, where he built and led the institute’s internal and client-facing data and evaluation strategy. Earlier, Nipuna also co-founded IVolunteer International, a global civic-tech nonprofit that developed mobile and enterprise technology solutions to serve 50,000+ volunteers through various national and global organizations.
