Mike Wulff is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Ellucian, where he leads the company’s global engineering and product management teams. With a career spanning over two decades in enterprise software and higher education technology, Mike is a driving force behind Ellucian’s digital transformation and student-first strategy. Since joining Ellucian in 2012, Mike has held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Software Development and Senior Vice President of Global R&D. He has been instrumental in shaping the Ellucian SaaS Platform—an open, interoperable ecosystem designed to streamline operations and enhance student outcomes across higher education institutions.
In 2023, Mike was named CTO of the Year in the IT Cloud and SaaS category by the Globee® Information Technology Awards, recognizing his leadership in advancing innovation and resilience in the higher education sector. Mike began his career at Datatel and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is known for his collaborative leadership style, deep technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to empowering institutions through transformative technology.
