Dan Olson is a strategic marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience driving growth for education technology and B2B platforms. With deep expertise in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, and data-driven demand generation, he brings a practitioner’s understanding of how higher education institutions evaluate, select, and adopt technology.

As director of product marketing, Dan leads marketing strategy for Tambellini, translating the firm’s proprietary research and advisory capabilities into compelling market narratives that serve both institutions and solution providers. His background spans both the vendor and platform sides of EdTech, giving him a grounded perspective on the decisions CIOs and their partners navigate.

Most recently, Dan served as Managing Director of Audience Generation at EAB, where he managed a multi-million-dollar marketing budget and oversaw partner relationships with more than 200 higher education institutions. Prior to EAB, he co-founded Learning Markets, an online education platform serving major financial institutions, including Scottrade, CNN, NASDAQ OMX Group, and Motley Fool, which he scaled over 12 years before joining EAB.

Dan holds a Master of Fine Arts in English from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Southern California.

Michael joined Workday in 2013 seeding the Student project team and contributing to its initial architecture and design. Michael led the Product Management team as they designed the core student product and facilitated a three-year customer design partner program. Today, Michael leads the Product Strategy team responsible for determining market fit, competitive market intelligence, and overall product direction. Prior to joining Workday, Michael worked 16 years at Peoplesoft and Oracle in support of the Campus Solutions product in Product Management, Development, and Support. Michael has committed his professional career to the improvement of higher education management through the design and development of Student Information Systems.
