Russ Pearlman
Chief Information Officer
Dallas College

Russ Pearlman is an authentic leader passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world business challenges. While many have only recently recognized the rise of artificial intelligence, he has been developing AI solutions for both business and entertainment for more than two decades, reflecting his commitment to innovation and practical impact.

Pearlman serves as chief information officer at Dallas College, where he oversees the delivery of technology solutions across seven campuses and more than a dozen satellite locations. His responsibilities include managing enterprise systems, learning platforms, network infrastructure and strategic technology initiatives that support student success and operational excellence. A licensed attorney in Texas, Pearlman brings a unique perspective to technology leadership, bridging legal, business and technical considerations in an increasingly regulated digital landscape.

Inspired by his high school science teacher, Pearlman learned early on to ask questions and dig deeper, advice that has kept him curious and adaptable in a rapidly evolving field.

When he isn't bridging business and technology to drive measurable impact, you can find Pearlman playing poker, SCUBA diving, exploring new restaurants or immersing himself in virtual worlds through video games, often with a dad joke along the way. He looks forward to sharing insights on technology, artificial intelligence, AI risk management and compliance and digital transformation to help others navigate the future with confidence.
